receive our Club Pack. We feel that this brings valuable additional benefits.
Cabshield Club Members Pack
Cabshield clients benefit from being a member of the Cabshield Club. As
well as being a convenient place to store your insurance details, this
folder also contains information and other benefits for your. This sheet
gives a brief summary of what is included in the pack.
PCLE
This is a separate policy from your taxi policy. When you have an accident
that is not your fault and you can claim from a Third Party insurer, PCLE
will take care of it for you. Their freephone numbers is on the card in
the tax disc holder. Their services will not cost you any money and you
should find them very helpful. They will try to recover your policy excess,
the cost of your repairs (if you are only covered Third Party of Fire
and Theft, they may be able to arrange repairs and directly bill the other
insurer), other costs such as taxi test, meter changes, loss of earnings
etc. They will also deal with any personal injury claim for you, your
driver or your passengers. They may also be able to arrange a replacement
taxi while yours is off the road.
ACE Taxi Protector
This is an Accident and Assault policy that we hope you will never need
to claim but it is provided to give you peace of mind in the event that
the unthinkable happens. It has benefits of up to £30,000.
Taxi Account Book
This book is very popular with our members and we hope you also find it
very useful. It can be invaluable when you are dealing with your accountant
or the tax man. It can also be very useful in the event of a claim against
another insurer.
Vouchers
We at Cabshield are very satisfied to note that most of our new members
have been recommended to us by other satisfied members. As a 'thank you'
for these introductions, you can now receive £35 for every new member
that you introduce.
Public Liability
If you do school contracts for the Local Authority, they usually request
extra Public Liability as well as your taxi policy. If you require the
extra cover please contact us.
Complaints Procedure
Cabshield is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
This is a regulatory body and by confirming to their rules and regulations,
we aim to give you the high standards of service you would expect from
the National Taxi Insurance Centre. If you are not satisfied with either
our service or that of any insurer we have placed you with, just follow
our complaints procedure to allow us to resolve your complaint.
